Clutch hitter who can hit a long ball. In addition to being an incomparable clutch hitter, he is indispensable as a player who inspires other players letting out a holler from the third base and dugout. He leads the team as "Passionate Man".

After turning professional in 2006, he steadily matured, and played all games in 2011 with . 282 batting average, 25 homers and 83 RBIs. He established himself as one of sluggers who represent the world of baseball with . 287 batting average, 35 homers and 94 RBIs in 2015. He was selected for SAMURAI JAPAN for the third WBC in 2013 and played 7 games mainly as "batting 9th/third baseman." The team lost in a semifinal, but he performed well and proved his abilities going 7 for 21 with . 333 batting average, 1 homer and 5 RBIs.

As of Kokubo Japan, he was selected and showed presence for all series except for a road trip to play games against Chinese Taipei with which Japan formed a team with young players on November, 2013. He played 8 games in Premier 12 on November, 2015, going 6 for 24 with . 250 batting average, but he got 2 homers and 7 RBIs as clutch hitter. In addition to his experiences and aggresiveness, his defensive skills using a strong arm as third baseman is expected. This man will create a mood to win back a championship.
