Ace right-handed pitcher who was an annual strikeout leader for 3 consecutive years. He brings a hitter into submission with his powerful fastballs and sliders while showing his spirits.

He was selected for the first time for SAMURAI JAPAN to play the 2014 All-Star Seires. He threw a 155 km/h fastball in the 2nd inning breaking his own record, and pitched for 5 innings with no hits and 6 stikeouts in Game 3. He contributed strongly to a no-hitter game with other pitchers and was proud of himself saying, "I did the best pitching in my life." He pitched as a reliever in Premier 12 which was held the following fall in 2015. But when he pitched in a semifinal against Korea following the starter, the 8th was a one-two-three inning but he had to leave the mound with the bases loaded with none out in the 9th. He bit his lips watching the team being lost at the end.

There is somehting you can learn from failure. With determination to remove the regretful feelings, he will face the world stage with his own new cutter which works perfectly with the WBC ball. He will pitch to the fullest both as starter and reliever.
